Joshua Sanders joined the U.S. Army in 2015 as a Human Resource Specialist. As someone who served in the Army and transitioned in 2019, Joshua witnessed firsthand the stress and uncertainty that often accompanies the transition to civilian life, particularly concerning finances. He recognized that many dedicated service members, despite their commitment and discipline in their military careers, lacked the specific knowledge and strategies needed to navigate their finances after their service.
He obtained a Finance Degree and an instructional design and technology certificate in 2023 with the purpose of working as a Financial Coach, helping military and veteran families identify and address money challenges before it gets out of hand.
Currently, Joshua hosts both in-person and virtual classes throughout the state of Tennessee, with the mission to honor the commitment of Military and Veteran families and ensure their financial well-being after their service. He envisions a future where every Military and Veteran family is financially secure, leading to reduced bankruptcies, improved quality of life, and fostered stable communities.
